KEY Club is an acronym for Kiwanis Educated Youth (and has nothing to do with keys). KEY Club members boast the spirit of Kiwanis and service in the community. The club is an international thriving organization that holds the most members of any high school school club in America. Kiwanis clubs assist children, young adults, the aging, and the needy in order to improve communities and support understanding worldwide. Kiwanis was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1915 by a group of businessmen and the international headquarters are based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Today, there are more than 600,000 Kiwanis members from more than 13,000 clubs in 79 countries. Join here in Snohomish and make a difference. | |
