Lynnwood Kiwanis Annual Auction May 1, 2010

Lynnwood Kiwanis is hard at work preparing for our Annual Charity Auction. This is a major fund raiser for the Lynnwood Kiwanis Foundation and provides the financial support for many community service projects. Your support of the auction can come in several ways: donation of auction items, purchase of advertising space in the auction program, and attending the auction. Here are some of the many projects in which the Lynnwood Kiwanis is involved with:

    · Supporting  the Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace Food Banks
Providing scholarships to graduating seniors in the Edmonds School District
Providing children with bicycle helmets
Assisting with the Special Olympics Bowling Tournament
Supporting  the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life” by participating and providing a Pancake Breakfast for all the walkers
Assisting local non-profit organizations with annual donations: Young Life, Alderwood Boys and Girls Club, Clothes for Kids, and Run To Win among others.
Donating infant car seats to Stevens Memorial Hospital to be distributed as needed
Donating time and funds to Tailgate Ministries, a local program feeding the needy in our community
Volunteering at the Edmonds School District lunch program
Volunteering and supporting Kiwanis Camp Casey, a week-long camp hosting disabled children

Whatever you choose to donate will be greatly appreciated and you will be recognized as a supporter of our community. Kiwanis members dedicate their time, resources, and talents all year long, but without the support of the community partners, we would not be able to participate as actively in the future as in the past. Please call promptly to arrange a convenient time to have your donation picked up:
